Join us at the center (gazebo) of Hampton Park, Downtown Charleston, to learn how to rig up your rod (tying fly line — leader — fly) and break into smaller groups for casting demos and pro-tips!

What to bring:

-fly rod & reel (with fly line on reel)

-leader (20lb 9 feet is a good start, but does not matter; can buy at Fin to Feather or 843 Flies)

-a fly (we will provide limited practice flies with no hooks for safety:))

Nice to bring/okay if you do not have:

Clippers 

Nail knot tool

Towel or blanket to sit on
